Welcome
Ride Programme
It is important to book in for all rides, unless a ride says otherwise. Each ride has it’s own ride leader. Note that the time shown is the departure time, it is wise to arrive a little earlier. Please bring a piece of paper with your name and your In Case of Emergency (ICE) number to give to the ride leader. Cycling is a strenuous activity, please can individuals with pre-existing medical conditions let the ride leader know prior to the ride about any conditions which may affect their ability to ride. Our ride calendar is here.
After the “clocks go back” in October LIGHTS MUST BE USED ON ALL RIDES
Your search has brought you to the friendliest cycle club in the 1066 area. (Well that’s what we say!)
If you are an avid cyclist, a novice or a newbie, we would welcome you to come along and meet us. Look on the events page to see when our next outing will be and call / text the ride leader.
No-buddy(!) to cycle with…
If you are a novice or slightly nervous rider, how about having a one-to-one ride with one of our lovely members, male or female. This will NOT be a lesson, more of an accompaniment to help you get ‘back on the road’. If this is something you would like to do please come along to on of our rides/meets and say hello. The ‘coffee meets‘ especially would be a good choice.
1066 Cycle Club is a group of people who enjoy cycling and want to improve cycling facilities in the ‘1066’ area of Sussex. Find out more about us
